Evaluating the 55×5 Manifestation Method: Effectiveness Examined
Recently, I have been creating posts about a few methods that have been popularized with fantasy names by various social media influencers. One such method is the 55×5 manifestation method, which has gained widespread popularity as one of the most effective quick manifestation techniques. While I am generally skeptical of programs and methods that claim to produce quick results, I believe it’s important to provide my perspective on such techniques to help my readers better understand them if they choose to try them out.
Based on the concepts of the law of attraction, this method involves repeatedly contemplating a particular thought. It is grounded in the principle that regularly focusing on a thought can lead to the realization of one’s desires. Additionally, it harnesses the power of affirmations and written words to direct your attention toward a specific goal, effectively transforming it into a ritual that consistently encourages positive thinking about your desires.
This process entails establishing a habit of journaling for five days, incorporating repeated words to convey your intentions to the higher power or the universe, thereby facilitating the manifestation process. However, does the 55×5 method really work? If so, what is it that makes this technique effective? I will be addressing these questions later in this post, first let me show you how it is performed.
You choose what you want to manifest, you use an affirmation or statement that perfectly describes it and then write it 55 times a day for 5 days, that’s all this method is all about. In truth, there is nothing more to do but there are a few things that you need to be careful about if you want to make the most out of it and that’s why I am going to guide you through 4 steps to perform this technique.
Step 1 – Set an Intention
What do you want to manifest? Have you chosen a clear goal? Is your desire within the framework of your current beliefs and mindset? Many people will tell you that the power of the subconscious mind is limitless, so you can manifest whatever you want regardless of your current situation. Well, they are right about your inner mind, but it is also the beliefs and ideas deeply embedded in your system that have prevented you from achieving what you want so far. Choosing a goal that feels unreal to you is setting yourself up for failure. Instead, you should select a goal that you believe is slightly beyond what you think you can achieve, yet still within the bounds of what doesn’t seem too daunting based on your current beliefs.
Take time to make a thorough analysis of your current situation. Choose a goal that genuinely excites you, but one that doesn’t seem impossible given your present circumstances. Once you have a clear picture of what you want to manifest, move on to the next step.
Step 2 – Articulate Your Desire
The second step is to create a concise statement that captures the essence of your desired scenario. You can either formulate your own affirmation for this purpose or craft a brief sentence based on the goal you selected in the first step. Here are a few things to keep in mind while doing this:
- Choose words that evoke positive emotions about your goals.
- Phrase the sentence in the present tense, as if your desire has already manifested. You can also include gratitude here, as demonstrated in the following example.
- Keep your sentence as brief as possible (you’ll be writing it 55 times, so don’t make it a tedious task).
Let me illustrate this with an example: Suppose you want to manifest your dream house. In this case, your statement could be something like, “Thank you, Universe, for blessing me with my dream house” or even shorter, “I am grateful for manifesting my dream house.” Using your affirmation or sentence in this manner is crucial because viewing it as a future manifestation can generate feelings of lack in your present moment, which can hinder your progress.
Step 3 – Journaling
Purchase a beautiful journal of your choice for this purpose. Subconsciously, we consider processes like this important when we give thought to the things necessary for their execution. Next, select a specific time during your day for performing this method. Establishing a routine of doing it at the same time will train your mind to help generate the necessary feelings and enthusiasm while using these techniques.
I recommend doing this either before going to bed or immediately after waking up. During these periods, our minds are in the alpha state, which is most conducive for establishing communication with the universe. Once you have chosen a particular time, make sure to write your statement every day without fail, repeating it 55 times for 5 consecutive days. Enhance your practice by incorporating visualization of your desires while writing. Focus on the words, allowing the images of your desires to float in your thoughts.
Step 4 – Receiving
This is the most essential step in any manifestation process. People not only forget to include it in the methods they advocate but also perpetuate a false image of the principles behind the law of attraction as if they were akin to magic spells. Rarely will you find a good program or book that omits this crucial phase of manifesting, which involves allowing the universe to respond to your wishes by showing you signs. Your actions when you receive clues from the higher power or when opportunities present themselves will guide you toward your goals.
So, once you have completed this process, express your gratitude to the universe for listening to your wishes and be on the lookout for possible hints. Seize your chances whenever you have a strong positive feeling about taking an action step. For instance, if your desire is to improve your financial situation and you strongly feel that you should explore other job opportunities or start a small business alongside your current endeavors, then you should follow that intuition. Working and Effectiveness
Just like any effective program or technique used for manifesting our desires, this method also taps into the same phenomenon to help us eliminate the limiting beliefs that hinder us from manifesting what we truly want. This method harnesses the power of repeated positive suggestions to reshape one’s inner beliefs regarding their ability to attract what one desires in life.
The written word holds immense power. When repeated affirmations are used consistently, they have the capacity to go deep into our subconscious minds, leading to a significant inner transformation that, in turn, produces noticeable external changes. Therefore, this method can indeed be highly effective when used correctly, as the feelings and visualizations experienced while employing this method play a crucial role in determining its success.
In his program “Winning the Game of Money,” John Assaraf tells us something about the power of mental movies that we can apply to this method to make it even more powerful. So, as you write your affirmations, I want you to create imaginative short movies that you will repeatedly visualize mentally while writing these words. This will amplify your feelings of already having achieved what you want.
Although I have shared this much about the 55 X 5 manifestation technique and provided you with the steps to perform it, I remain somewhat skeptical about this method. It’s not because I don’t consider it effective, but rather due to the time frame involved. Five days seem rather short for manifesting something substantial. You see, I have tried numerous programs and methods, and one thing I’ve learned from my experience is that significant changes in one’s beliefs typically don’t occur in such a brief period.
You may experience small manifestations or something you can brag about, but to make a real lasting change, five days is not enough. The truth is that we are so complicatedly wired based on the beliefs that we form from our life experiences, and those beliefs will generate negative and doubtful thoughts while using a method like this. For me, a major shift in life has only occurred after consistently using certain techniques to change my attitude towards any area of my life that I wanted to improve. I am not discouraging you, nor am I advocating against this method. Persistently using this method for a long time with the right attitude can definitely yield results. That’s why I wrote this post; I want you to understand that manifestation methods also require a proper approach to make them work.
So, how much time will it take to manifest? Before asking that question, one should consider how much time this method will take to make them feel positive about their goals to the extent that they become certain they will achieve them. The key is to assess whether this method is helping one achieve that inner change. If it is, then you are on the right path and should continue with the method, even if tangible results haven’t appeared yet, because in that case, manifestation may be just around the corner.
